Celebrating A Classic with 2 New Releases

Depending where you are in the world, 2017 marks the 20th anniversary of release of the single Everything’s Gonna Be Alright. We’re just going to let that sink in for a moment or two (and allow the ‘I feel old’ sensation to pass for some)…..done? Good, then let’s continue, shall we?

Recently spotted is two albums currently scheduled for release date of 19th April 2017 in Japan. At this time all we know for certain is the release date and titles. The track listing is yet to be confirmed and may be subject to change. So we’ll indulge in some speculation into what these could potentially be.

First up we have Sweetest Best Selection 1997 – 2006 (previous working title was Sweetbox The Best – “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright” 20th Anniversary (1995 -2006) (Cat. No: AVCD- 93676). This looks to be a 21 track release. It could simply be a repackaging of 1 disc from Complete Best  (we’ve seen in done in the past with other artists) or it could be a completely new listing

Second we have Sweetest Remix (previous working title was Sweetbox The Best Remix – “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright” 20th Anniversary (1995- 2006) (Cat. No. AVCD-93677). From what we’ve gathered regarding this, it looks to be a 12 track release. We’ve previously had Best of 12″Collection and of course Sweet Reggae Mix. We’re not entirely sure if this is going to be 12 brand new remixes or a mix of previously released mixes….or unheard mixes?

Both releases can be pre-ordered in the current locations:
Sweetest Best Selection 1997 – 2006: HMV Japan | YesAsia
Sweetest Remix: HMV Japan | YesAsia

In the mean time, why not indulge in the track that is 20 years old this year
